San Eli News is based in San Elizario, Texas, covering the stories that shape life here, across Texas and throughout the United States.
What we cover
Hyperlocal reporting from San Elizario, the Lower Valley and El Paso County; news across Texas and all 50 U.S. states. Our coverage includes crime and public safety, politics and government, schools, business, health, family, animals, sports, culture and everyday life.
Our approach
Our reporting links the public records, agency announcements and other identifiable sources behind a story. We distinguish an allegation from a finding, a proposal from an adopted rule and an official announcement from independent verification. Source dates and publication dates are retained separately.
